nameserver problems

    We have the following setup:
    nameserver1 (master) is Linux 6.2 with Bind 8 installed on it,
    nameserver2 (slave) is Raq 4,
    we have been using slave zones on the Raq for a long time now, but last
    week we had a harddiskfailure on ns1.
    When new one was installed and we thought everything was back in working
    order, we have been able to copy the zonefiles to the Raq (via slave
    mode) only once or twice. at this moment we can not duplicate it
    anymore.
    It concerns for example www.the-unit.com.
    DNS report shows a lame server (for the slave) because of the fact that
    it doesn't copy anymore.
    NSlookup on the ns1 also gives no problems.
    Any ideas?
