MCAL and PHP

    I have a RHEL 3.0 ES machine with PHP 4.3.2 installed from Red Hat. I
    am trying to recompile php to include MCAL and I get the following
    error on ./configure:

    checking for GNU gettext support... yes
    checking for bindtextdomain in -lintl... no
    checking for bindtextdomain in -lc... no
    configure: error: Unable to find required gettext library

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
