I have a Memorex 512MB USB drive that is not working with my Linux
machine. I am running Redhat 9.
When I insert the USB drive and then type dmesg I get the following
response:
/////
USB Mass Storage device found at 2
USB Mass Storage support registered
hub.c: Cannot enable port 2 of hub 1, disabling port.
hub.c: Maybe the USB cable is bad?
/////
The odd thing is a Memorex 128MB USB drive works fine.
It is recognized is able to be mounted.
Does anyone know how to fix this to get the USB driver working?
Thanks.
Jeremy
