startx -unable to start

    Hello Gurus,

    I have redhat 8 linux system and recently it was
    crashed.
    I ran fsck by going in to single user mode and now it
    is booting but unable to get the login screen.

    If i give startx I get the following error

    Fatal server error:
    could not open default font 'fixed'

    I can ssh from other systema and can work.everything
    is fine.

    Please help me how i can solve this GUI problem so
    that i get my desktop.
