    I would like to express my gratitude to the members of
    this list especially Ugo and let you know that I was
    able to install the few missing (from my installation
    of Fedora core 4) packages. As Ugo mentioned
    libc.so.6 was not missing at all. I don’t know the
    reason for the failed dependency the other day, it
    didn’t happen today when I tried again.

    As I said I could not have solved this problem without
    the patient help of the members of this list
    especially Ugo Bellavance. Thank you again.
