/proc/cpuinfo on a Dell 6650 shows the machine as having 8 CPUs (numbered 0
through 7). Its running AS version 3 and kernel is 2.4.21-27.ELsmp

The machine has the maximum of 4 CPUs actually. Is this a bug or am I not
    reading the file correctly?

    Thanks for any leads

    Srini
