aic7xxx not loading

    Hello all,

    I have trouble getting the aic7xxx driver/module loaded at bootup.

    After the machine boots I can do a "insmod aic7xxx" and the module gets loaded and I have access to a tapedrive connected to the card.

    How come the driver/module doesn't get loaded at bootup ?

    Do I need to change/update something ?

    I am running : "Linux 'host'.depauw.edu 2.4.21-32.0.1.EL #1 SMP Tue May 17 17:52:26 EDT 2005 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux"
