    Hello all..
    I asked a while back if anyone had a heavy loaded syslog server
    and asked if they used a filesystem other than ext3 ..
     
    well i fixed my own issue.. i changed over to syslog-ng..
     
    system stats went from
     
    load average: 1.99, 1.99, 1.99
    and iostat
    avg-cpu: %user %nice %sys %iowait %idle
               0.72 0.02 0.36 46.19 52.71
     
    to 0 load average and iowait to less than 1%
    avg-cpu: %user %nice %sys %iowait %idle
               0.40 0.00 0.75 0.21 98.64
