RPM dependency issues

I have a fresh install of RHE4 64-bit that I am trying to install some RPMs
on. While the dependencies it calls for are on the system, they are not
being recognized. If I force the install, the program doesn't work. Does
anyone know how to tell rpm where to look for the dependencies?


[root@host system-rpms]# rpm -ivh ypserv-2.13-5.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libgdbm.so.2 is needed by ypserv-2.13-5.i386
[root@host system-rpms]# locate libgdbm.so.2
/usr/lib64/libgdbm.so.2.0.0
/usr/lib64/libgdbm.so.2
