ssh key corruption

Hello,

This is the first time I've seen this. Running kernel 2.6.13 and am getting
the following errors when the ssh daemon starts.

Generating /etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key
Generating public/private rsa1 key pair
***glibc detected*** free(): invalid next size (fast) 0x80022250***
/etc/initid/ssh.d: line 44: 4786 Aborted ssh-keygen -t rsa1 -b 1024 -f
/etc/ssh/ssh_host_key -N ''

Same thing happens when generating the dsa key. I compared the ssh.d file to
other installs I have and it is identical. The daemon doesn't start with
these errors.

Any idea can I fix this?
