Download the RHEL3U6 ISO images, extract them, and then just use rpm to upgrade using those rpm files.
even better than that...
unpack the RPMS from those install disks onto a network share of some kind.
then on your client machines edit /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources to point
up2date at that share (easiest done with some kind of local mount, using
the 'dir' option). Don't forget to comment out the default line.
then try
up2date -u
it will take a while, but will definitely work.
