I've run into a networking issue on my home network where one box is
extremely slow on downloading and just in general browsing. The slow
box is a Dell XPS 400 running Fedora Core 5. I have a Dell Inspiron
8600 running RHEL 4 WS which has no speed issues at all.
They are both
plugged into the same SOHO firewall which is connected into a cable
modem. I'm pretty much at a loss, so any ideas would be a
great help..


What does ifconfig look like on each box? Any errors? Anything else
on your home network? Duplicate ips?
