Re: Kernel panic - please help


When you reboot try passing init=/bin/bash to the kernel to see if it will then boot. If it does is there a problem with init? the kernel is telling you it can't find it.

You *might* need to reinstall the package that contains init (rpm -qf /sbin/init )
