Registered Mark symbol appears diffrent on Redhat Enterprise server(2.6.9-5.ELsmp)

Hi
I have one text file consisting of a character
circled "R" which seemed to be fine on my redhat
system(2.4.2-2). When I ftp'ed this file to another
RedHat Enterprise server it is appearing like
diffrent
I checked fonts on both the systems using
"xlsfonts | wc -l" I am getting the same answer on
both the systems
Can you please shed some light on this
