You'll want to look at www.snort.org

Subject: IDS

This document:

<http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-4-Manual/security-guide/s1-ids-host.html>

discusses IDS's (Intrusion Detection Systems). There doesn't seem to be any
supported IDS in RHEL. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what they
recommend? This document mentions tripwire, SWATCH, and LIDS.

Any recommendations from users of these (or any other IDS) out there?
