I am asked to enter username and password everytime I switch from text to graphic console. Please suggest.

Hi,

I have just installed RHEL ES4 on a desktop.
After booting I logged in using the GUI.
Now I enter the text console using CTRL+ALT+F1.
If I now return back to the GUI using CTRL+ALT+F7, I am asked username and
password again. Please suggest.
