There will not be any problem
But you may experience data failure when a file is access by both the smb
and nfs share,
So thats why this share is not recommended
Any way if you want do this, While editing important files, lock the file
before you start editing this will protect data loss

hi!
I'm just wondering... I have a shared folder on the server named
/public. I'm exporting it with Samba (for win* users) and NFS (for *nix
users) at the same time. Is this a good idea? Can I experience some
connectivity-related problems?
Thanks
