What is the config in the fails clients?
Check the conectivity via net with ping command.
Check the nis services in the client. - - -> ypwhich and setup
Check the domainame. - - - -> domainame
Check the nsswitch config.

NIS server issue
I found some strange issue with NIS??
Is NIS depends on the Hardware ?/
Because it works with few computers but not working on few computers.
What is to be check??
