Red Hat Admin,
I'm trying to upgrade my kernel. There are dependencies. They are as
follows. The mkinitrd dependency is old; I'm on a later version. Can I
just force this install? What rpm flags should I use? TIA!
admobrie@listserv3:/listserv $ rpm -qa|grep mkinitrd
mkinitrd-4.1.18-2
admobrie@listserv3:/listserv $ sudo rpm -ivh mkinitrd*4.2.1.6-1*.rpm
