P520



Am planning to install Linux on 4 Power PC (IBM-P5) attached to FC-SAN
storage.
The servers will Apache HTTP/PHP, Java and Oracle

Would this work on PowerPC,out of your experience need your input.

I ma planning to install it on the following HW (4xP520systems) attached to
SAN
with the following HW spec
-P520
-Dual 2.1 GHz P5+
-1.9 MB L2 / 36 MB L3
-16GB ECC RAM
-2x Internal Disk 73
-RAID Dual channel ultra320 SCSI int. controller
-Redhat 4 or Redhat 5 EL
-SAN DS4700 Express Model 70 2GB cache
-14x146.8GB 10k
-Redhat EL 4 or 5
