Re: Video card rec.


Hi all,

I'm building a computer at home to act as a media center machine. I
would like to connect my satellite box to it and an LCD monitor to watch
TV and play DVD films. I'll run CentOS and MythTV.

Do you have any recommendation for a video card and a monitor to give me
these capabilities? Thanks.

Pretty much any nvidia card will do fine. If you have dvi in on the
monitor you want then look for an nvidia card with dvi out. Any monitor
will work. The mythtv list is a good place for these questions too.
