I understand that and did look at the mount man page, but was just
wondering if there was a command that would give information about

On my system, I can use this:
# dmesg | grep -i ext3-fs
EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
