Changing NFS Server timeout Value.

Can the timeout value of the " Checking NFS Server" part of the redhat boot
process be changed as sometimes i have to bring our machines up without the
network cable connected and it currently takes 30 minutes for machine come
up because it checks 7 NFS areas. If i could change the timeout value to
say 30 seconds it would really speed this boot process up. If anyone knows
how this can be done, please let me know.
Regards
