Is it possible to change our RHEL 4 AS servers from the AS channel to the
RHEL 4 ES channel?

I can tell you that the 3 rpms that change between RHEL 4 AS and RHEL 4 ES are:

redhat-release
anaconda-product
comps

I don't know if you would have to remove/add the AS machine from RHN or not, or if replacing redhat-release will make it seem obvious to RHN or not that it has changed.
