Ina nutshell:
To use RHN you need an activate valid entitlement for that system. So
if you install RHEL on 2 systems you need two entitlements.
Then you need to register both systems with RHN so the repositories
become available so you can use yum to download and install packages.

Subject: Re: perl dbi and dbd issue
Guys,
The reason i could not use yum is that my rhel server is not
withand
rhn. Which raises one question. Our subscription to rhel has expired
whenit
it was running, it said we could use 2 socket connection.? What does
exactly mean ? Can anyone give me a quick explanation. Also we alreadywe
have
one rhel box registered with rhn using our sole login credential ( it
was
registered before our subscription expired. So when i tried to connect
the
new server to rhn it said that our subscription has expired and that
already have one server registered with them.mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe
What exactly is required to use yum ??
Thanks,
lonetwins

Sorry - bad day today.
Not a problem. Sorry, mine's not wonderful either... but all in all,
glad to be at work....
