Oracle Application Server 10G Release 2 on RHEL4u6

Hello,
We run the Oracle Application Server 10G on RHEL4u6.
I had problems in the past with newer kernels released by RedHat
causing system crashes, so I rebooted the machines to an older kernel
version 2.6.9-11.ELsmp which keeps the machine stable, does not crash.
The machine booted with a newer kernel will crash some 30-45 minutes
after reboot? We encountered this problem numerous times, and this is
a PROD environment.
Also on my boot parameters is added noexec=off per a suggestion in the
past from Oracle.
Anyone have any ideas about this issue?
