RE: size limit for root partion

I think the 2.6 kernel limits a filesystem size to 2TB ... but apparently there are ways to hack that limit.

I don't think so but having a 50GB for / is more than enough.

I have a 160G sata disk, want to do partions as:

/ ext3 50G
swap 2G
/data reiserfs (the left)
