    Hi Jason,
hey, I'm back with my same old trouble...
Ok, I tried as suggested using "kdesu ./setup" get following:
    knesbitt@NIS-951765887A:/tmp/OOo_1.1rc2_LinuxIntel_install> kdesu ./setup
    bash: kdesu: command not found
In terms of running other X apps as root, you may have hit on the trbl. When
attempting to run "gears" as su root, get this:
    NIS-951765887A:/tmp/OOo_1.1rc2_LinuxIntel_install # gears
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Protocol not supported by server
Basically the same type of error as the OO install. If I su back to my
standard user account, no trouble running gears.
    Some kind of permissions trouble?
