You can actually just copy them directly to the ~/Desktop of the user
that's effected. Susewatcher makes the icons in some temporary
directory therefore there is no need to copy them to /tmp and then back
to the ~/Desktop folder. This is what I did on both my machine at home
and at work.
If you are using KDE, you can also turn off susewatcher and then go into
the KDE Control Center-->Desktop --> Behavior then click the "Display
devices on desktop" button and select the devices that you want to appear.
