After the FTP download starts and 45800kb are loaded into my RAM disk...
    I get

    1. "integrating the installation into the ramdisk..."
    2. "integrating shared objects of the installation system..."
    3. "starting syslog (messages are logged to /dev/tty4) ..."
    4. "starting the klogd..."
    5. "integrating kernel modules (message went too fast to copy..."

then a blinking curser for about 3 minutes...

    then the message.

No Keyboard detected. Trying to connect via serial interface /dev/ttyS0.
On your terminal computer start the user interface with
    y2base "serial(115200):/dev/ttyS0" qt --fullscreen --noborder
    or
    y2base "serial(115200):/dev/ttyS1" qt --fullscreen --noborder
or start the YaST2 menu by typing
    "yast2" and select YaST2/Remote Install

    Results:
    # yast2 --list
/usr/lib/YaST2/bin/yast2: line 1: getopt: command not found
    Exit
    # yast2
/usr/lib/YaST2/bin/yast2: line 1: getopt: command not found
    Exit
    #y2base "serial(115200):/dev/ttyS0" qt --fullscreen --noborder

and I get a blinking curser, a lot of HD spinning and no install screen.

If I had hair, it would be between my fingers at this point. No SuSE, no
    Debian, and no Mandrake !

    HELP
