    I already have them, back in the day I was the Compaq king, now that HP has
    assimilated them I am more a Dell man now. From an earlier posting one guy
    says it is your ACPI, try Kernel.org to see if you can get some Kernel
    parameters to bypass this, another Option would be to compile woth Limited or
    no ACPI modules.
