-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I have been keeping my system up-to-date with apt-get.
In addition I recently successfully installed the latest NVIDIA drivers
after rebooting the console reports alot of modprobe errors
but these are not written to dmesg or /var/log/messages.
X starts ok so I can use my KDE desktop.
However, console logon is denied and fails with the above message.
My kernel is 2.4.21-4-athlon
Can anyone offer assistance or tell me where to begin looking for more info?
Regards,
Sylvanus
