    I just used the "X" (aka Alt-F4 in KDE) on the window frame. Which seems to
    send the correct signal to mplayer because exiting with "q" results in the
    same quitting message in the konsole and the sound keeps playing nonetheless.

    Oh well, I wanted to try TVTime anyway...
