I installed SuSE 8.2 on a Mecer T1100 laptop (This is a local brand and
could be a rebranded FIC or Toshiba).
It is an old laptop - P1-133, 64 MB RAM.

The installation went all very well, except that the PCMCIA card was not
    detected.

dmesg does not show any PCMCIA stuff.
When I use the YaST tool to show hardware info, it just says that PCMCIA
is available, but it does not show any devices.

Any pointers on how to get this working?
Googling has not given me any answers yet.

    Thanks

This is what the log file show during boot:
