[SLE] Suse 8.2 won't recognise my modem

    I have just installed a old Lucent pci
    modem,downloaded the required drivers for Mandrake 9.1
    and SuSE 8.2.MDK 9.1 is working fine,but I can not get
    SuSE 8.2 to recognize the pci modem.

    01)

    I manually load lt_modem and lt_serial and then check
    the loaded modules.OK
     
    Running wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf gives the
    output:sorry no modem was detected.
    Any help would be appreciated
