I just performed a manual install of Mozilla Firebird .061 onto my 8.2 Pro
box, first uninstalling the 1.02 package that was present on the system.
Since Firebird was installed not from an RPM but simply extracted into a dir
manually, I'm wondering if is it possible to have Yast2 recognize it in its
installed list for future upgrades and consistency? I would prefer to manage
my system with one tool however I'm finding that as I add applications Yast
    is becoming outdated.
    Appreciate any and all comments!
