    As someone who has suffered a lot in the past from PSU failures, I suggest
    that you read this:

    <http://www.pcpowercooling.com/maxpc/index_cases.htm>

    or this

    <http://firingsquad.gamers.com/guides/power_supply/>

    or whatever you can Google out.

    It seems to me a PSU problem indeed. Try to calculate how much wattage your
    system needs and check it against your PSU indications. Bear in mind that
    most PSUs do *not* offer the wattage they claim. Subtract around 20% to be on
    the safe side.

    If your original system came with 300W and you replaced some parts, HDD, CPU,
    graphics card, then you are taxing the original PSU maybe a tad more than it
    was intended.
