That's what I meant. My drive turns slower - should require less juice.

That's all the specs give - it's startup requirement. They give the
normal operation (max load, idle, ens) only in watts.

Mmmm, the thing is, the resetting happened mostly while I was not using
the computer no load, no CD-ROMS working, ect. And it tended to stay up
for a couple of hours before resetting.

That's what I think happened. Or rather, it got too hot, and did the
same. As it gets hotter, resistance increases so it has to work
harder. Comes to the same thing.

Thanks again for the replies. Everything is fine now, the culprit was
definitely the fan - fixing it eliminated the problem... But it's
always fun to find out the details and reasons behind the problem
