I know nothing about Java, so I should keep quiet here....
but a friend phoned me today with exactly the same error message.
He was trying to run his java code on another windows machine. His code runs
on the machine he wrote it on but will not run anywhere else, he has tried
other win boxes and Macs and wanted to try my Linux.
It may be more than a path problem.
