    I haven't used SuSE 9.0 or RedHat 8.0 or the release version of Mandrake
    9.2. I do now have installed SuSE 8.1, SuSE 8.2, Mandrake 9.1, Mandrake
    9.2 Cooker (pre-release 9.2), RedHat 7.3, Fedora 0.95, Mandrake 7.1,
    RedHat 6.2, and Corel 1.1. I've previously had installed RedHat 5.2,
    RedHat 6.1, Corel 1.0, SuSE 8.0, Mandrake 8.0, Mandrake 8.1, Mandrake
    8.2, and Mandrake 9.0.

    I'd say the top 2 are SuSE 8.2 & Mandrake 9.1.
    Next 2, Mandrake 9.0 & SuSE 8.1.
    Mandrake 9.2 with updates will probably be in the top class. I don't see
    a lot of difference from 9.1.
    I saw nothing in RedHat 9.0 to recommend it compared to SuSE or
    Mandrake.
    Fedora has promise, but too early to tell still. It's font system is
    bizarre. Unlike SuSE & Mandrake, it has no numlock or HPFS support out
    of the box.

    All current versions seem incapable of creating a single boot floppy
    using stock initrd & kernels.

    FWIW, my only 24/7 system is still OS/2 99.9% of the time. SuSE 8.2 &
    PC-DOS split the balance. All my systems are multiboot capable.
