    SuSE-list,

I hope you can help me finding an answer or two to a question I have.
Please let me know if it already has been answered or if it's old or
    anything else inapropriate.

I run SuSE Pro 9.0 and Gnome. When I try to display "Properties" of any
subfolder, hidden or not hidden, in /home as user or in /root as root,
Nautilus crashes -- it splashes a dialog where I can choose to either
close the program or submit a bug-report, and after that Nautilus
re-appears again as if nothing has happened.

Showing "Properties" of any file, hidden or not hidden, works fine both
as user and root. And to my knowledge it works fine showing "Properties"
of any file or folder in any other folder than /home or /root.

How can this be? Any ideas?

    Yours,

    Lars Norén
