[SLE] easy way to adjust time in gnome

I'm using gnome 1.4 (SuSE 8.0). I would like to know what is the easy
way to correct my hours (and minutes and day, month, etc.).

PS--just typing time doesn't work :) neither does double click on the
clock icon.
