Hi all,
I am following the HOWTO (revision 1.2.3 at
http://www.delouw.ch/linux/postfix/phtml ) and have got stuck (on a SuSE 8.2
pro). I have got as far as 3.5.3, 'Building and Installing' postfix. The
problem I am having is with the make command
make makefiles
'CCARGS=-DHAS_MYSQL -I/usr/include/mysql -DUSE_SASL_AUTH -I/usr/local/includ
e/sasl -I/usr/local/bdb/include'
'AUXLIBS=-L/usr/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient -lz -lm -L/usr/local/lib -lsasl2 -L/
usr/local/bdb/lib'
The make program complained that, 'No <db.h> include file was found'
despite the file's location (it is installed) being passed to the program as
an argument, '-I/usr/local/bdb/include'. There is also some question as to
the placing of the quotes- should they rather be,
CCARGS='
I am no expert at this, but I have been following the howto and sailing
along (relatively) until this point, and I would like to be able to complete
it. Thanks for any advice you might have.
