We are thinking of purchasing two Sony VAIO GRT100 laptops for work. The
machines will come with Windows XP and other software but we will be
installing SuSE 9.0 in a dual boot configuration, possibly running Windows via
Wine on the system.
The systems come with 256 MB of RAM. Do we need more for this configuration?
Other specs ...
2.4 GHz Pentium 4 Processors
32 MB Dedicated Video RAM
40 GB Hard Drives
3 USB ports
IEEE 1394 (Firewire)
Type III (2 x type I / II)
1 Memory Stick Slot
Does anyone see a potential conflict with what we have in mind?
Has anyone had any issues with any Sony VIAO machines and SuSE?
Thanks,
