Just had a crash on my system after trying to play a dvd. My home partition
refuses to mount and reiserfsck reports an unrecoverable error, possibly bad
block. Fortunately, I managed to backup my friend's files on CD today just
before the crash. Unfortunately, my files have not been backed-up. Any
ideas on
1) how I could possibly repair my drive.
2) retrieve some of my data.
Is there a way using something like ddrescue? Any help would be MUCH
appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
