    Hello All,
Trying to install 9.0 Personal without success!!
System is AMD Athlon 500, 256meg mem, 10g Ext2 partition set up with
Partition Magic and using BootMagic to dual boot.

Process starts OK from CD1 or CD2 but stops after:-
"starting yast" - then a further 2 lines.
Then the dreaded RED BOX with "an error occured during the installation"
quickly appears, I cannot stop this appearing to be able to give you full
details of the last 10 lines or so of the sequence.
This happens at exactly the same point whether I try:-
    Installation
    Installation - ACPI Disabled
    Installation - Safe settings
    Manual

or whether BootMagic is activated or not.

Any ideas, I really want to use Linux.(totally fed up with Uncle Bill)
Tried distro 6.4 a few years ago but finally gave up after 8 months of pure
hassle, and a lot of help from this list, but at least it loaded and dual
booting worked fine, thought this latest distro would be somewhat easier !!
