    Good point, and thanks for the heads-up.

    I think I was getting desperate given that SuSe support had not replied in any meaningful way, despite several phone calls and a number of emails.

    In the end I found the answer on the German list (suse-linux@suse.com) and cross-posted it here to ensure the English side got it too.
