The user mode linux binary included in host-k_um-2.4.21-99 and the
binary I built from kernel-source-um-2.4.21-135 both seem to exhibit the
same problem. They hang right after mounting the root file system and
attempting to execute /sbin/init.
Has anyone successfully ran a UML with a SuSE built kernel? I've come
across the kernels from kraxel (http://www.suse.de/~kraxel/uml/kernels/)
but they too are precompiled from an unknown source with out the patches
I need.
Using a pre-built kernel is not an option for me since I need FreeS/WAN,
POPTOP and ACL patches. I've yet to se any UML kernels with all these
patches.
Thank you,
Chip Schweiss
