    Thanks for the enlightenment.

    I also used to have the profile problem - but this has now disappeared.
    Have recently gone to 9.0 and am using MozillaFirebird 0.7+ from here:

    ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/mozilla/experimental/
