Hey Group;
I know that acpi has been a pain. However, I have a friend with a SuSE9.0 Toshiba
LapTop which requires acpi to make the sound modules work. A check of "lsmod"
confirms that the sound module will only work if acpi is available.
He has 3Ddiag showing that 3D is working whith a Nvidia driver.
Problem is that serveral games with sound enable will lock up the Xserver and KDE.
Games like Frozen-Bubble fail to connect to the sound driver. Calling up kmix also
showed no volume controls. Sound is working and can be proven with KDE boot sound.
Anyone have a suggestion?
